We'd all love to learn from you!

You built a skillset that works — skills, agents, hooks, plugins, MCP, all wired together and battle-tested on real projects. You're committed to maintain and improve it going forward.

Skillsets.cc is the high-signal path between you and the community.

Add the marketplace, run /contribute, and Claude walks you through the entire process.

What the process looks like

1

Claim a Slot

Sign in with GitHub and claim an open slot from the registry. Once claimed, you have one week to submit. Your handle stays private until the PR is approved.

2

Scaffold

Claude auto-detects your existing CLAUDE.md, .claude/, .mcp.json, and any support stacks, then scaffolds the submission structure.

3

Develop & Document

Develop your skillset in content/. Edit PROOF.md with evidence of production use — project links, metrics, videos, or writeups.

4

Structural Audit

Manifest schema, required files, content structure, file sizes, and secrets detection. Claude runs this automatically and reports any issues to fix.

5

Qualitative Review

Evaluates every primitive against published criteria, discovers MCP servers, verifies collaboration artifacts in the reference repo, and runs a safety scan. Grant Claude permission to access the reference repo when prompted.

6

Submit

Claude forks the registry, creates a branch, and opens the PR. Requires GitHub CLI installed and authenticated.

7

Review & Merge

Maintainers review your production proof and validate the audit report. Once approved, your skillset is published to the registry.

Hard Constraints

CI re-validates every PR before merge. These checks are gating.

Check Rule
Manifest Valid schema, semver version, author handle, tags, production links
Required files skillset.yaml, content/, content/README_<NAME>.md, content/LICENSE
Content structure Both content/.claude/ and content/CLAUDE.md present
Secrets No hardcoded credentials (AWS AKIA, GitHub ghp_, OpenAI sk-, Anthropic sk-ant-)
README links Links to content/.claude/ must use full GitHub URLs
Version Updates must have version > existing registry version
MCP consistency Content↔manifest MCP declarations must match

Updating an Existing Skillset

Already published? Run /contribute again. Bump the version in skillset.yaml, and Claude handles the rest.
